OUR DOCTRINE

" One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism in the name of JESUS "

Doctrine of the United Pentecostal Church of Mexico

Our doctrine is entirely based on the Bible. It is an apostolic, practical faith centered on Jesus Christ as the one true God.

We believe, teach, and practice the following, Articles of faith:

Article 1 "Fundamental Doctrine"

We believe in the biblical model of salvation: repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We promote unity in the faith.

Article 2 "The Bible, our authority"

The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. All doctrine and faith must be based on it, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Article 3 "The one true God"

We believe in one eternal and indivisible God, manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Not three gods, but one God.

Article 4 "The Son of God"

God was manifested in flesh as Jesus Christ. In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead. He is the only mediator between God and men.

Article 5 "The Name"

The name of JESUS is God’s redemptive name. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved.

Article 6 "The creation and fall of man"

God created man in His image. Sin entered through the disobedience of Adam and Eve. We live in a fallen world, but in Christ we are redeemed and reflect His love and dignity.

Article 7 "Repentance and conversion"

Genuine repentance is necessary for forgiveness. It is the first step toward salvation and involves confessing and forsaking sin.

Article 8 "Water baptism"

We believe in baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ. It is an act of obedience for those who have sincerely repented.

Article 9 "Baptism of the Holy Spirit"

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a promise for all believers, and its initial evidence is speaking in tongues. It empowers us to live in holiness.

Article 10 "Divine healing"

God is our healer. Healing was included in Christ’s atonement and remains available today for those who believe.

Article 11 "The Lord’s Supper"

The Lord’s Supper is a sacred ordinance that commemorates Christ’s sacrifice using bread and the fruit of the vine as symbols of His body and blood.

Article 12 "Foot washing"

Jesus washed feet as an example of humility. Believers practice this ordinance as an act of service and brotherly love.

Article 13 "Holiness"

Believers are called to live in holiness. We reject practices and lifestyles that do not reflect the purity of the gospel.

Article 14 "The grace of God"

Grace is the unmerited favor of God that saves but also teaches us to live righteously. Believers must remain in that grace.

Article 15 "The restoration of all things"

God will restore all things according to His prophetic promises, except for the devil, his angels, and those who reject Christ.

Article 16 "The rapture of the saints"

Jesus will return again. The dead in Christ will rise, and the living believers will be caught up to meet Him in the clouds.

Article 17 "Tithing"

Tithing is God’s financial plan since the time of Abraham. It is an expression of obedience and support for His work.

Article 18 "Marriage"

Marriage is a divine institution between one man and one woman. We do not approve of unions that contradict this biblical design.

Article 19 "The second coming of Jesus"

Jesus will return again, visibly and gloriously. It is the living hope of the Church and the fulfillment of apostolic promises.

Article 20 "The Millennium"

After the great tribulation will come the Millennial Kingdom: a time of peace and justice in which Christ will reign on earth.

Article 21 "Final judgment"

After the Millennium, all the dead will rise to be judged. Those not written in the Book of Life will be condemned eternally.

WE BELIEVE THAT: JESUS IS THE FATHER IN HIS DIVINITY, THE SON IN HIS HUMANITY, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IN EMANATION. WE BELIEVE THAT: JESUS IS THE FATHER IN CREATION, THE SON IN REDEMPTION, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IN REGENERATION. “THEN PETER SAID TO THEM: REPENT, AND LET EVERY ONE OF YOU BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS, AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.” – Acts 2:38 “NOR IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER, FOR THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN BY WHICH WE MUST BE SAVED.” – Acts 4:12
