Fundamental Doctrine
We believe in the biblical model of salvation: repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We promote unity in the faith.
ARTICLES OF FAITH
Doctrine of the United Pentecostal Church of Mexico
Our faith is entirely biblical, practical, and centered on Jesus Christ as the one true God manifested in the flesh.
The Bible, our authority
The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. All doctrine and faith must be based on it, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The one true God
We believe in one eternal and indivisible God, manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Not three gods, but one God.
The Son of God
God was manifested in flesh as Jesus Christ. In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead. He is the only mediator between God and men.
The Name
The name of JESUS is God's redemptive name. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Creation and Fall
God created man in His image. Sin entered through Adam and Eve's disobedience, but in Christ we are redeemed and restored.
Repentance
Genuine repentance is necessary for forgiveness. It is the first step toward salvation and involves confessing and forsaking sin.
Water Baptism
We believe in baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ. It is an act of obedience for those who have sincerely repented.
Holy Spirit Baptism
It is a promise for all believers. Its initial evidence is speaking in new tongues and it empowers us to live in holiness.
Divine Healing
God is our healer. Healing was provided in Christ's sacrifice on the cross and remains available today for those who believe.
The Lord's Supper
A sacred ordinance remembering Christ's sacrifice through bread and the fruit of the vine as symbols of His body and blood.
Foot Washing
Jesus washed feet as a supreme example of service and humility. We practice it as a sacred act of brotherly love.
Holiness
Believers are called to live separated from sin, reflecting Christ's purity, righteousness, and character in daily life.
God's Grace
Grace is God's unmerited favor that saves and teaches us to live godly lives in this present world.
Divine Restoration
God will restore all things according to His prophetic promises for the building of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Rapture of the Church
Jesus will come in the clouds. The dead in Christ will rise first, and living believers will be transformed forever.
Tithing & Offerings
Tithing is the biblical financial plan for supporting God's work and spreading the Gospel.
Marriage
Marriage is a sacred institution established by God exclusively between one man and one woman.
The Second Coming
Jesus will return with power and great glory. It is the blessed hope of the whole Apostolic Church.
The Millennial Kingdom
A glorious thousand-year period of peace and righteousness in which Jesus Christ will reign sovereignly over the earth.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
